5th Outdoor Tournament
Savile Bowmen will be holding their 5th outdoor tournament at Thornhill CBC on sunday 26th July 2009. This will be the second year that we will be running a world record status FITA 70M followed by an Olympic head to head round.

Non Shooting Dates
Due to exams we will not be shooting at Spen Valley Sports College on the 5th and 8th of December.

Savile Members Selected for England and Yorkshire
Four Savile Bowmen club members were selected to represent Yorkshire at the five counties match which was held in Cumbria at the start of October.
David Nordoff in the gents recurve team and Stephen Dixon, Adrian Hayes and Mark Hayes comprised the compound team, Stephen could not accept the invitation as was selected for the English compound team to shoot in the Australian Open Championships taking place at the same time.
Mark gained the gold medal for highest score in the compound section and he and Adrian helped Yorkshire retain the Compound team trophy, David was part of the team which won the Gus Moses horn trophy in the match against Durham and Northumberland.
